From Happy Ending to Tragedy

“Any hero’s journey needs to begin in tragedy,” Hudnut told USA TODAY. “In ‘Yellowstone,’ Kayce and Monica had such a happy ending. We needed to turn his world upside down.”
From Ranch to Marshals
Kayce leaves the “Yellowstone” ranch behind, bringing with him his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL. He joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals in their quest for range justice in Montana.
In the premiere, Kayce tells Monica he’s changing paths to join the U.S.
Marshals, aiming to find a new beginning for himself and Tate. The episode’s climax sets the stage for his new life filled with both adventure and heartache.
