The Busiest HOLIDAY Destination: Magic Kingdom

Ho, ho, ho and MERRY CHRISTMAS! It’s that time of the year when the Magic Kingdom transforms into a winter wonderland. The holiday spirit is palpable as visitors enjoy specialty snacks, over-the-top decorations, and rare parades.

Main Street – A Good Indicator

Upon arrival at the Main Street entrance, we noticed that it wasn’t too bad but had some pinch points due to people stopping in the middle of the walkway. Main Street is often a good indicator of what the rest of the park looks like.

A Mickey and Minnie Topiary Line?

What caught our attention was the longest line outside the park wasn’t for tapping into the Magic Kingdom, but actually to take a photo with the iconic Mickey and Minnie topiaries! That’s a long queue!

The Parades – A Rare Spectacle

Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade is one of the rare parades you can see during Christmas Day. This parade, part of the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, is an extra ticketed event. However, if you don’t want to spend money on a ticket, you can still enjoy this magical spectacle in daylight!

Parade Schedule and Highlights

The parade is performed twice daily at noon and 3 PM each day until December 31st. It’s a great time to spot characters like Mickey, Minnie, the princesses, and more! Plus, Santa serves as the grand finale if you don’t want to wait in line to meet him.
